Hi Doni,
I can’t believe it has been a year already. Payton is doing great. She is a big girl(75 lbs) and having a ball at the dog park and doggie daycare. She also went on her first hunting trip yesterday. She did great. She looked like a deer bounding threw the tall grass looking for them birds. Then when the gun went off, she was a champ. She stood and then looked for it. She did an awesome job following my brother’s dog and learning so tips from an old veteran. She started barking when she heard the pheasant make its noise. It was cool. My brother did get 2 pheasant but I got skunked. I had a great shoot at a bird but when I pulled the trigger, it just clicked. Guess who didn’t realize their gun wasn’t loaded. Me…I guess I am learning too since it was my first time as well. We will be going out to the fields here again and this time I am sure I will not get skunked.Hope all is well. Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
